Bio

Paul T. P. Wong, Ph.D., C.Psych., Received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Toronto. Has taught at University of Texas at Austin, York University, Trent University, University of Toronto, and Trinity Western University. Also a registered clinical psychologist in Ontario. He is a Fellow of APA and CPA, and President of The International Network on Personal Meaning (www.meaning.ca and www.inpm.org) and Editor of the International Journal of Existential Psychology and Psychotherapy (www.existentialpsychology.org) .For his cv and recent publications, please visit www.drpaulwong.com . Has devoted considerable time to meaning-centered research and applications. The second edition of his edited volume The Human Quest for Meaning: Theory, Research and Application will be released next year by Routledge and can be ordered on Amazon.com . His current research interest is to study the effects and implication of developing a meaning-mindset as a framework for achieving the good life. He is also interested in developing a meaning-based research methodology that requires that all quantitative studies need to provide information on participants’ attributions of meaning to their rating scores; this methodology is particularly important for cross-cultural research of translating research instruments from English to other languages.
